Location

The luxurious hotel is located directly on the beautiful sandy beach, near the original fishing village of Puerto Morelos, away from all the hustle and bustle on the north coast of the Riviera Maya. The hotel is only approx. 20 km from Cancun Airport and approx. 36 km south of the well-known tourist center Playa del Carmen.

Facilities

The Dreams Jade Riviera Cancun hotel is an exclusive 5-star resort with a total of 550 spacious rooms. The modernly designed complex has a buffet restaurant and 6 à la carte restaurants (no prior reservation required, Asian, Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean and French (for ages 18+)), a bistro, a cafe, 6 bars, a fully equipped spa area (for a fee), shops, a theater and a convention center. The beautifully designed, palm-lined outdoor area features a spacious pool landscape with an infinity pool as well as an adult pool and a children's pool (all heated).

Junior Suite

The 65 m² Junior Suites have a balcony and are modernly equipped with a telephone, plasma cable TV, Wi-Fi (for a fee), iron/ironing board, bathrobes and slippers, electronic safe (included) and minibar (included and replenished daily with beer, water and soft drinks). The very spacious bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet, whirlpool, and hairdryer. Available at an additional charge also with tropical view or ocean view.

Preferred Club Junior Suite

The following additional amenities for guests: Check-in and check-out with concierge service (late check-out subject to availability and for a fee), living room, bathroom with double sink and rain shower, preferred status and amenities, lounge, private areas throughout the resort, upgraded toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, pillow menu, free internet access, room service menu, daily continental breakfast in the lounge and free newspaper in room every day (English and Spanish).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For 2 adults + 1/2 children / 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

In Mexico, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.
From now on, hotels in Mexico will gradually introduce an "Eco-Tax".
Therefore, every hotel room user in Mexico is obliged to pay a tax to the state locally at the hotel in cash, similar to a tourist tax.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found more frequently in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
