Location

The Tukan Hotel Playa del Carmen is located approx. 250 m from the sandy beach. The tourist center is only a few meters away. Shopping facilities are approx. 50 m from the hotel, and a supermarket can be reached after approx. 200 m. The nearest bars and restaurants are around 10 m away. The airport (CUN) is approx. 55 km away.

Facilities

The 4-story city hotel has 156 rooms spread across a main building and 2 annex buildings. It offers its guests a 24-hour reception (check-in from 3 p.m., check-out until 12 p.m.), a lobby, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), and a shop. A restaurant caters to culinary well-being. Refreshing drinks can be enjoyed at the hotel bar.

Double Room Deluxe

The rooms are modernly furnished and feature a queen-size bed or two double beds, as well as air conditioning, shower/toilet, LED TV, Wi-Fi (free of charge), safe, and balcony or terrace. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex building (DD2).
Available at an additional charge also with two bedrooms as type A (DDA).

Super Saver Room

These standard rooms in typical Mexican design offer a bath or shower/toilet, individually regulated air conditioning, TV, fan, safe, and telephone (SSZ).

Family Suite (from Winter 25)

These rooms offer enough space for the whole family with an occupancy of up to 6 people and feature a king-size bed or double bed, an additional rollaway bed, internet (free of charge), safe (free of charge), and flat-screen cable TV as well as individually adjustable air conditioning. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/toilet (2FS).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!
