Location

This adults-only resort is located directly on a beach with crystal-clear water, in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Cancun Airport is approx. 50 km away and the center of Playa del Carmen is approx. 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel is an exclusive 5-star resort. The modern complex features a buffet restaurant, 4 à la carte restaurants, 8 bars, 1 bar and grill in the beach area, as well as a fully equipped spa (for a fee), shopping facilities, and a conference center. The beautifully landscaped grounds, lined with palm trees, feature a lovely pool area. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.35 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room; this means 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Effective immediately, hotels in Mexico will gradually introduce an "Eco-Tax".
As a result, every guest staying in a hotel room in Mexico is required to pay a local state tax in cash at the hotel.
From February 1, 2026, the municipal environmental tax will be levied as follows: first guest 35.19 MXN, second guest 23.46 MXN, third guest 17.60 MXN. This tax applies to all guests aged 13 and over, is paid by the guests directly at the hotel upon arrival, and is charged per room per night.

Zusatzhinweis

A tourism tax was introduced on April 1, 2021, and is currently a one-time fee of 224 Mexican pesos or approx. 11 US dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can also be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is recommended to carry the exact amount in Mexican pesos or US dollars.

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations may be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased presence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae often appear in the Caribbean. This may affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal authorities. However, the use of appropriate machinery is required for this, which causes a slight noise level.
