The 5-story, 4-star beachfront hotel has 196 rooms and suites, as well as a 24-hour reception with a lobby and comfortable seating areas. The "Balam" buffet restaurant takes care of your culinary needs in the morning. Hotels in Mexico are gradually introducing an "Eco-Tax".
This means that every user of a hotel room in Mexico is obliged to pay a fee to the state locally at the hotel in cash, similar to a tourist tax.

A tourism tax came into force on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approx. 11 US dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can also be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

During stays between April and December, there may be an increased presence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight background noise.
