Location

Set amidst tropical vegetation and on a kilometer-long sandy beach, the resort is approximately a 25-minute drive from Playa del Carmen and 20 minutes from Tulum. The beautiful sandy beach is protected by an offshore coral reef. The Riviera Maya Golf Club is located within the resort.

Junior Suite Superior

The Junior Suites, decorated in a modern Caribbean-Mexican style, feature a king-size bed or two double beds, a bathroom with hydromassage tub/toilet, hairdryer, seating area, 24-hour room service, guest service (on request), air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, coffee maker, and a balcony or terrace (JU2/JU1). Ocean view available at an extra charge until 11/1/26 (2JO/1JO).
From 11/1/26, bookable as 1 King Bed Junior Suite (JS2/JS1) and 2 Double Beds Junior Suite (JU2/JU1).

Junior Suite Deluxe

These suites are slightly larger than the Junior Suites, were built in 2015, and are located in the adults-only area (2JD). Ocean view available at an extra charge (JO2). The adults-only area also features an infinity pool and a restaurant.
From 11/1/26, bookable as Deluxe Junior Suite 1 King Bed (2JD), Deluxe Junior Suite 2 Double Beds (J2D), and at an additional charge as Ocean Front Deluxe JS 1 King Bed (C2O). This area will no longer be adults-only.

Junior Suite Premium

In addition to the features of the Deluxe Junior Suite, these rooms have a shower and are more modernly furnished. Bookable until 10/31/26.
From 11/1/26, bookable as 1 King Bed Swim Up Prem. JS (JOL) and Swim Up Prem. JS 2 Double Beds (2WJ).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If the occupancy is 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax has been in effect and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often observed more frequently in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach areas in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
