In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no additional beds will be provided in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is frequently recorded in the Caribbean during this time. The beach and sea are affected by this. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight background noise.
