Location

The hotel is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, directly on the long, fine sandy beach of Uvero Alto. By car, it is approximately 30 minutes to Bavaro, 35 minutes to Punta Cana Airport, and about 75 minutes to La Romana Airport.

The luxurious resort has 620 rooms in nine three-story buildings and offers its guests a highly comfortable stay. Starting at the lobby, a river-style pool with a swim-up bar runs through the tropical grounds to the sea. For children, there is a separate pool area in the Adventure's Club. Relaxation is offered on the spacious sun deck, which also features shaded areas. Culinary variety is provided by 9 different restaurants, including 5 à-la-carte restaurants (e.g., Italian, Asian, French (adults only), seafood specialties), a main buffet restaurant, a pizzeria, a café, as well as snack bars by the pool and on the beach. Furthermore, the hotel features 9 bars, a small shopping arcade with various shops, and a Splash Island water park (opening Summer 2025).

Double Room Tropical View King

The tastefully decorated rooms feature a bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, king-size bed, wardrobe, furnished terrace or balcony, MP3-compatible alarm clock, cable TV, individually controlled air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, CD and DVD player, coffee/tea maker, safe, ironing board and iron, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks, water, juice, and beer), umbrella, and desk, and have a garden view. They are also available as Standard 2-Bed Tropical View rooms with two double beds for 3 adults. (2TA)

Club Tropical King

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room; occupancy means 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Children's program

The Adventure Kids Club is for children between 3 and 12 years old. The club is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Activities are fully supervised.
Odyssey Teens Club:
Sports and other activities are organized by the animation team in the Teen's sports area.
Alcoholic drinks are only served to guests 18 years and older.
From 10:30 PM to midnight, there is a late-night disco in the sports area.
In the main area, teenagers 13 and older have access to billiards and video games.
For babies, there is a kids' club near the beach where parents can play with their children (no supervision!).

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
