Location

The hotel complex, consisting of the Grand Sirenis Cocotal Beach Resort and the Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites, is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful coconut groves in the Caribbean, directly on the magnificent sandy beach.

Facilities

The complex features a total of 816 accommodation units. General facilities include a spacious reception and lobby area, a buffet restaurant, a beach restaurant with panoramic views (lunch buffet and themed dinners), and various à-la-carte restaurants (Asian, Italian, French, Tex-Mex, Rodizio, American, and Mediterranean; subject to availability and reservation). Furthermore, the hotel offers a snack bar, 11 bars, 2 large swimming pools with gradual entry, 2 separate children's pools, sun terraces, a sports bar, an ice cream parlor, a coffee shop, a mini-supermarket, various other shops, the Sirenis Aquagames water park, and an animation stage. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are provided free of charge at the pool and beach.

Double room

The rooms are renovated and feature one king-size or two queen-size beds, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, safe, adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (replenished daily), coffee/tea maker, iron/ironing board, bathrobes, Wi-Fi, room service (11 a.m. – 11 p.m.), and a balcony or terrace (D/DE/KD).

Economy junior suite

Equipped like the double rooms but not renovated, without bathrobes, and featuring air conditioning, rental safe, room service (11 a.m. – 11 p.m.), and Wi-Fi (JSS/SK0/SK4).

Family suites

The family suites are located in the Tropical area, are renovated, and feature individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, ironing board, telephone, 2 satellite TVs, minibar, safe, living area, and a sleeping area separated by a sliding door, room service (11 a.m. – 11 p.m.), and a balcony or terrace (2FS/KF2/KF3).

Romantic room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these are slightly larger and renovated. They feature a whirlpool in the bathroom. Wi-Fi and safe are included (RR2).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Adjacent to the hotel, you will find the 12,000 m² Sirenis Aquagames water park with the following facilities (admission is included for all hotel guests): a large central swimming pool, a 10-meter-high tower with 4 slides, a heated children's area (ages 4-11) with 10 children's slides, and a baby pool (ages 2-4) with animal and water-spraying figures, among many others.

In the Dominican Republic, washbasins or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
