Location

The resort is located in the Playa Bávaro region, approximately 720 m from the beach and situated directly on the boulevard of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro. Punta Cana International Airport is only about 18 km away, ensuring a short and pleasant transfer. La Romana Airport is located about 50 km away. A bus stop is easily accessible within approximately 1 km.

Facilities

Opened in 2026, the Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino is nestled in an approximately 110,000 m² tropical garden. The modern, open-plan complex with a five-story main building and elevators impresses with its short walking distances and a versatile range of amenities for families with children of all age groups. A special highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape, featuring a lagoon pool, several cenote pools, a wave pool, and the Splash Island water park with slides and water play areas. The offering is complemented by expansive sun terraces with loungers and parasols, as well as complimentary towels at the pools and the beach. For dining, guests can enjoy a wide selection of restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant and several à-la-carte restaurants serving Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei, and Indian cuisine. The resort borders directly on the "Boulevard," which is shared by all Lopesan resorts and delights guests with diverse leisure opportunities such as a theater, disco, casino, bowling alley, spa, beauty salon, further gastronomic highlights such as two restaurants (including, for example, the Teppanyaki), a sports bar, coffee shop, the Baco Wine Cellar (for a fee), an English pub, and an ice cream parlor.

Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan design spanning approx. 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, a sofa bed, and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace offers a wonderful view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to linger. Further amenities include air conditioning, a minibar (small refrigerator), a combined coffee/tea maker, a smart TV (50"), telephone, radio, safe, dressing area, as well as an iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom features a toilet, a single vanity, a walk-in shower, a hairdryer, and a vanity mirror (2KQ). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With identical amenities, also bookable with a view of the pool area. Either with a queen-size bed (YO2) or with a king-size bed (FJP).

With otherwise identical features, the Family Junior Suites Swim Up offer approx. 56 m² of living space as well as a private terrace with direct access to the shared pool (FJU). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FSU).
Rooms with direct pool access present an increased potential hazard for small children. For this reason, Schauinsland-Reisen maintains a minimum age of 6 years for children for bookings of these room types for safety reasons.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae is frequently encountered in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This requires the use of appropriate equipment, which creates a slight background noise.
