Punta Cana International Airport is just 18 km away, ensuring a short and pleasant transfer. La Romana Airport is located about 50 km away. A bus stop is easily accessible within 1 km.

Facilities

The Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino, opened in 2026, is nestled in an approximately 110,000 m² tropical garden. The modern, open-plan facility, featuring a five-story main building and elevators, offers convenience with short distances and a versatile range of amenities for families with children of all ages. A particular highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape, which includes a lagoon pool, several cenote pools, a wave pool, and the Splash Island water park with slides and water games. The offer is complemented by expansive sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols, as well as complimentary towels at the pools and beach. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of culinary options across various restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant and several à la carte restaurants serving Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei, and Indian cuisine. The resort is directly adjacent to the "Boulevard," which is shared by all Lopesan resorts and delights guests with a variety of leisure activities such as a theater, disco, casino, bowling alley, spa, beauty salon, further gastronomic highlights such as two restaurants (e.g., the Teppanyaki), a sports bar, coffee shop, the Baco Wine Cellar (for a fee), an English pub, and an ice cream parlor.

Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan concept over approximately 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, a sofa bed, and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace offers a wonderful view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to relax. Additional amenities include air conditioning, a minibar (small refrigerator), a combined coffee/tea maker, a smart TV (50"), telephone, radio, safe, dressing area, as well as an iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom features a toilet, single vanity, walk-in shower, hairdryer, and vanity mirror (2KQ). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With identical facilities, also bookable with a view of the pool area. Either with a queen-size bed (YO2) or a king-size bed (FJP).

Family JS Waterpark View-Queen

Family JS Swim Up-Queen

With otherwise identical features, the Family Junior Suites Swim Up offer approximately 56 m² of living space and a private terrace with direct access to the communal pool (FJU). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FSU).
Rooms with direct pool access present an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. During this time, the beach and the sea may be affected. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause a slight background noise.
