Location

The resort is located in the Playa Bávaro region, approximately 720 m from the beach, directly on the Lopesan Costa Bávaro boulevard. Punta Cana International Airport is only about 18 km away, ensuring a short and pleasant journey. La Romana Airport is around 50 km away. A bus stop is conveniently accessible about 1 km away.

Facilities

Opened in 2026, the Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino is nestled within a tropical garden area of approximately 110,000 m². The modern, open-plan complex with a five-story main building and elevators impresses with short distances and a versatile range of offerings for families with children of all ages. A special highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape with a lagoon pool, several cenote pools, a wave pool, and the Splash Island water park with slides and water features. This is complemented by extensive sun terraces with loungers and umbrellas, as well as complimentary towels at the pools and on the beach. Culinary delights await guests with a wide selection of restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant and several à la carte restaurants offering Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei, and Indian cuisine. The resort borders the "Boulevard," which is shared by all Lopesan resorts and offers diverse leisure activities such as a theater, disco, casino, bowling alley, spa, beauty salon, and further gastronomic highlights like three restaurants (including, for example, the Tepanyaki), a sports bar, coffee shop, the Baco Wine Cellar (for a fee), an English pub, and an ice cream parlor.

Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan living concept of approximately 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, a sofa bed, and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace provides a wonderful view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to relax. Further amenities include air conditioning, a minibar (small refrigerator), a combined coffee/tea maker, Smart TV (50"), telephone, radio, safe, dressing area, as well as an iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom features a toilet, single vanity, walk-in shower, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror (2KQ). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With the same amenities, also available with a view of the pool area. Either with a queen-size bed (YO2) or with a king-size bed (FJP).

Family JS Waterpark View-Queen

With otherwise identical amenities, the Family Junior Suites Swim Up have approximately 56 m² of living space and a private terrace with direct access to the shared pool (FJU). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FSU).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room; this means 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
