The Family Selection at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro is quietly nestled in the exclusive Family Selection area, directly on the kilometer-long, fine sandy beach of Bávaro, one of the most famous beaches in the Dominican Republic. Punta Cana International Airport is approximately 23 km away, with a transfer time of about 30 minutes. The resort is located on the grounds of the Grand Palladium Bávaro Resort and offers access to selected facilities of the neighboring Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts.

Facilities

With a tailor-made concept specifically for families, the Family Selection at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro, which is being extensively modernized and renovated until December 2025, sets new standards in comfort, privacy, and service. In the separated area within the extensive resort complex, 160 high-quality equipped suites are available, including spacious family suites with separate bedrooms and suites with direct access to a private pool. The Family Selection pool area with a pool bar, reserved loungers, and pool service, a private beach area with Balinese beds, an elegant lobby with concierge and butler service, and the exquisite à la carte restaurant exclusively for Family Selection guests offer ideal retreats and a resort-within-a-resort feel. Premium Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex. Guests of the Family Selection can use all facilities of the Grand Palladium Palace (PUJ267) and the Grand Palladium Punta Cana (PUJ167). Adult guests can also use the TRS Turquesa (PUJ136).

Family Selection JS Garden View

These elegantly furnished Junior Suites (approx. 39 m²) offer a king-size bed or two double beds, a cozy combined living and sleeping area with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a shower and hydromassage bathtub. The amenities also include a furnished balcony or terrace with a view of the tropical garden, a daily replenished premium minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine, toiletries, a 55-inch flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a safe, a bathrobe, slippers, and exclusive Family Selection services such as butler, concierge, and turndown service (F2G).

Family Selection Superior JS Garden View

With the same amenities, the Superior JS Garden View offer more space and comfort (approx. 52 m²). They additionally feature a separate toilet and a larger bathroom with a double sink (2FU).

Family Selection Superior JS Private Pool

With the same amenities, these exclusive Junior Suites (approx. 72 m²) are located on the ground floor and offer direct access to a private pool and a furnished terrace with garden views. Pool towels and a Family Selection beach bag are also provided (R2F).

Family Selection FS Garden View

These spacious suites (approx. 72 m²) feature a comfortable living area with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds and a sofa bed, as well as a separate bedroom with two beds. With the same high-quality amenities and location as the Superior JS, they are ideal for families. The furnished balcony or terrace offers a quiet view of the garden. The offer is complemented by pool towels and a Family Selection beach bag (N2W).

Family Selection FS Private Pool

With the same room layout and amenities as the FS Garden View, these suites also impress with their prime ground-floor location and direct access to a private pool. The spacious terrace is furnished and offers ample space for relaxation in your own outdoor area. Here too, guests can expect a bedroom with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds and a spacious living and sleeping area with a sofa bed. In addition, pool towels and a Family Selection beach bag are available. (S2W).

Note

In the Caribbean, Queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2 m) are common. The maximum occupancy depends on the number of beds available. Extra beds are generally not provided. Wearing a hotel bracelet is mandatory. A dress code applies in the restaurants – sleeveless shirts and swimwear are not permitted during dinner.

The All-Inclusive concept impresses with international buffets, show cooking, its own Family Selection restaurant ("The Nest"), à la carte restaurants with specialties from all over the world such as Argentina, Japan, India, Spain, France, or Italy (reservations required in advance), as well as a pizzeria, snack bars, a coffee shop, and an ice cream parlor. 24 bars, including a 24-hour sports bar, exclusive drink service by the pool and on the beach, a daily replenished premium minibar, and 24-hour room service complete the experience.

Sports included

For the active, the resort offers an impressive range of options such as tennis, basketball, paddle, mini-golf, or volleyball, archery, kayaking, or a relaxed catamaran trip. The offer is complemented by table tennis, aqua aerobics, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and eight pickleball courts. Those who prefer individual training can use the modernly equipped fitness studio.

Sports for a fee

Beyond the beach, the resort offers numerous opportunities for water sports and maritime excursions. Windsurfing, diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling tours, and motorboat trips provide varied experiences on and in the water. The offers are aimed at guests who want to make their stay active and explore the coast of the Dominican Republic sportingly.

The Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness offers a luxurious retreat for body and soul. It provides guests with relaxation areas, saunas, steam baths, whirlpools with cold and warm water, as well as massage and beauty treatments. The wet area is reserved for adults. All treatments are subject to a fee.

Hotel service

The stay begins with a private check-in at the exclusive reception, accompanied by concierge and butler service, available throughout the stay for individual requests. 24-hour room service, daily turndown service, wake-up service, luggage and laundry service, currency exchange, and an on-site doctor ensure additional safety and convenience. Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased amount of brown algae is often recorded in the Caribbean during this time. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight noise.
