Location

The Checkin El Cortecito Beach is located directly on the beach in the lively district of El Cortecito in the Bávaro holiday area. The immediate proximity to the sea as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and small shops offers ideal conditions for a varied holiday. Punta Cana Airport can be reached in about 25 minutes by car.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40m x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

There is no classic restaurant available. An à-la-carte breakfast is offered in the morning (7 a.m. - 10 a.m.). In addition, the Mojito Bar (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.) invites you to linger with refreshing drinks.

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased appearance of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently recorded during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight background noise.
