The popular hotel is located directly on Playa Bavaro, right on the fine, paradisiacal sandy beach. The distance to Punta Cana airport is approx. 25 km (approx. 35 minutes by car).

The hotel has 272 rooms distributed throughout the four-story main building. You can escape everyday life on the fine sandy beach. The hotel leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to the culinary needs of its guests. It offers 2 buffet restaurants and 5 à-la-carte restaurants. In addition, the hotel has several bars, an internet corner, a disco, an amphitheater, and a small shopping center. The large pool landscape with 3 pools is situated in the beautifully landscaped tropical garden. Sun loungers and towels at the pool and beach are free of charge.

Here, guests are provided with directly refilled bottles; there are no drinking water fountains in the public areas.
Features the Winnow system to reduce food waste and 3R equipment for waste management in the hotels.
Guests staying in the Bávaro complex can visit the Coral Lab to see and learn more about corals, thanks to the two coral nurseries in front of the hotel where our scientific team is working to restore the reefs.
The hotel has its own composting facility. Organic waste is converted into compost that we can use for our gardens.
We are part of the country's national mangrove restoration program, and in the Bávaro complex, we have planted more than 19,000 mangroves donated by the Ministry of the Environment.
Beehives are rescued and taken to the apiary we have in the complex, which can be visited by all guests.
In collaboration with the National Aquarium, the Dominican Republic Institute of Environmental Law, and the Blue Flag program, the National Aquarium rescues sea turtles. Once they reach an appropriate size and health, they are released on the beaches of the Iberostar hotels.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae is frequently encountered in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can produce a slight noise level.
