Location

Excellent location directly on the sea, on the famous Playa Bávaro beach in an exceptionally exotic setting. The resort, along with the neighboring hotels Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino and Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa, is built on a 320,000 m² property amidst coconut palm plantations and lush tropical vegetation. The hotel is only approx. 23 km from Punta Cana Airport and offers its guests an expansive beach. A coral reef is located close to the shore, where diving enthusiasts and marine life lovers can find their favorite pastime.

Welcome to the Grand Palladium Select Bavaro, which will be comprehensively modernized and renovated by December 2025. Over 506 modern and stylishly furnished rooms guarantee a relaxing holiday on the most beautiful stretch of beach in the Dominican Republic. More than 14 restaurants are available (including 5 international restaurants with a wide selection of exquisite international dishes (one with show cooking), buffet, 9 à la carte restaurants (Italian Trattoria, Tex-Mex, Asian, Spanish, Japanese, Indian, Argentinian, and Steakhouse, of which 4 are exclusive to this hotel)). The Xtra Time Sportsbar is the ideal place to grab a snack (open 24 hours). Or relax in the spacious pool area, which, in addition to children's pools and a swim-up bar, features a large sun terrace with umbrellas and loungers. The souvenir shop, cocktail bar, beach boutique, photo shop, and casino invite you to linger. No wish remains unfulfilled here. There is also plenty for the younger guests to experience. The large children's area offers fun in all its facets. You can easily share holiday pictures and memories with your friends and family, as Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire resort. Junior Suite Garden View

The Junior Suites are spacious, feature 1 king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar (daily refill with water, beer, and soft drinks), coffee/tea maker, ironing board and iron, also offer a small living area with sofa bed and a hydromassage bathtub in the bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace (JGB/JGS).

Junior Suite Superior Garden

These suites offer the same amenities and location as the Junior Suites but are more spacious (approx. 53 m²) and have a larger bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub for two people and a separate shower cubicle, and 2 sinks (2JG).

Junior Suite Premium Garden View

Equipped like the Junior Suites, they additionally have a small combined living area with sofa bed and a hydromassage bathtub in the room (2PJ).

Rooftop Jacuzzi Terrace Junior Suite

This Rooftop Terrace Junior Suite (approx. 53m²) features a king-size bed or 2 twin beds, a large living area with a sofa bed, a balcony with a whirlpool for 2 people, a Balinese daybed, a hydromassage bathtub in the room, a shower, TV, safe, and telephone, minibar (RJT).

Rooftop Jacuzzi Terrace Suite

With similar amenities to the Rooftop Jacuzzi Terrace Junior Suite, these are more spacious (approx. 70 m²). The centerpiece is the exclusive rooftop terrace with a private Jacuzzi, where guests can relax in absolute tranquility and end the day under the open sky. Inside, they can expect a king-size bed with a memory foam mattress, a separate sofa bed, and an elegant living area. The bathroom features a whirlpool tub, double vanity, premium amenities, and plenty of natural light. Superior JS Private Pool

With similar amenities to the Junior Superior Garden, these Junior Suites are more spacious (approx. 72 m²) and offer a private pool on the furnished terrace. The comfortable furnishings include a king-size bed with a memory foam mattress, a separate sofa bed, and a stylishly designed living area. The modern bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, whirlpool tub, double vanity, and separate toilet. Bathrobes, a 55-inch flat-screen TV, steam iron, minibar, and tea/coffee making facilities provide additional comfort (SPO).

Romance Suite Garden View

These exclusive suites (approx. 72 m²) impress with their warm atmosphere, a memory foam mattress for the highest sleeping comfort, and luxurious amenities including an open-air whirlpool tub and rain shower. The furnished terrace, under a palm roof, features a private outdoor area with a hammock, marble shower, and lounge seating. Ideal for unwinding with a view of tropical greenery. Bathrobes, a steam iron, Wi-Fi, Nespresso set, and a modern entertainment system complete the exclusive living experience (RSG).
Also bookable with a private pool and Balinese daybed (RSP).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancies of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

All meals in buffet style, à la carte restaurants with reservation, all national drinks (24 hours), as well as a selection of international drinks in some bars (10 AM - 1 AM) and in the amphitheatres (9 PM - 11 PM), snacks 24 hours in the Sports Bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas & beach towels at the pool & beach. All facilities included in the All Inclusive package throughout the resort can be used.

Sports included

The range of sports activities is diverse and high-quality. Available are tennis courts, paddle courts, pickleball courts, volleyball, mini-golf, basketball, table tennis, kayaks, catamarans, aqua aerobics, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, bocce, archery, and a modern fitness studio with changing rooms.

Sports for a fee

For guests who want to actively experience the sea, windsurfing, diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling trips, and motorboat rides are offered for an additional charge.

Children's program

Large Kids Club in the style of a Spanish fortress with a large outdoor area with a playground (trampoline, mini-football field), children's pool with a pirate ship, climbing wall, play area, face painting and costume corner, mini-disco, painting and crafting area, video games, nap room, cafeteria with microwave, refrigerator. Wellness

In the exclusive Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness, guests can experience a spacious wellness area with steam baths, Finnish sauna, ice cabin, whirlpools at different temperatures, sensation showers, foot baths with stones, relaxation zones, beauty treatments, massage rooms, and face and body treatments. The wet area is exclusively for adults. All treatments are subject to a charge.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of special equipment, which can cause a slight noise disturbance.
