This resort, part of the Princess Hotel chain, is located directly on the sandy beach of Playa Bavaro. It is part of the larger Caribe Princess complex.

Facilities

This renovated resort is designed in a colorful Caribbean style. It has 310 rooms, an impressive open reception hall, and other public facilities such as a Caribbean shopping street, a beauty salon, a disco, and car and bicycle rentals. A path leads from the reception hall through a lush, natural mangrove forest to your holiday club. It features a buffet restaurant, 7 à la carte restaurants (including Dominican, Mexican, Italian, Asian, Brazilian, and Mediterranean), 9 bars (including a 24-hour sports bar), a coffee shop and ice cream parlor, and a crêpe stand. The garden area includes 3 swimming pools with integrated children's pools, a sun terrace with loungers & umbrellas, as well as a snack bar and a beach club.

A wristband is required to use the All-Inclusive services. In exceptional cases, if the hotel occupancy is low, there may be restrictions on the opening hours of restaurants (main restaurant excluded).
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without a spatial separation.

Seasonal Note

During stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight noise level.
