Location

The hotel is located in a quiet area on a sheltered, fine-sand beach, near the mouth of the "Rio Soco" river, the village of San Pedro de Macoris, and between La Romana and Juan Dolio. Transfer time to/from Punta Cana airport is approx. 90 minutes.

This small, exclusive tropical resort, exclusively for adults, features 414 modern junior suites, 2 main restaurants, and 3 à-la-carte restaurants; almost all restaurants are fully air-conditioned and non-smoking, and one restaurant is open-air. Further amenities include 6 bars, a snack bar, disco, shops, two large pool areas with a swim-up bar, spa area, and fitness room. Guests may also use the facilities of the sister hotel, Bahia Principe Grand La Romana (excluding buffet restaurants).

During stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is common during this time. This may affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal authorities. However, the use of appropriate machinery is required for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
