Location

The hotel is located in a quiet, protected, fine sandy beach cove, near the mouth of the river "Rio Soco", the town of San Pedro de Macoris, between La Romana and Juan Dolio. Transfer time from/to Punta Cana Airport approx. 90 minutes.

The small, exclusive tropical complex, for adults only, features 414 modern junior suites, 2 main restaurants, and 3 à la carte restaurants. Almost all restaurants are fully air-conditioned and non-smoking, with one restaurant offering an open-air setting. Further amenities include 6 bars, a snack bar, disco, shops, two large pool areas with swim-up bars, a spa area, and a fitness room. Guests can also use the facilities of the sister hotel Bahia Principe Grand La Romana (excluding buffet restaurants).

Junior Suite Deluxe

The tastefully furnished Junior Suites Superior feature a bathroom with a massage bathtub and shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, flatscreen TV, telephone, bathrobe and slippers, pillow menu, 24-hour room service, safe (included), minibar (water, soft drinks and beer, replenished once daily), an integrated living area with a sofa bed, and a balcony or terrace. Private check-in and check-out are available upon request (J2D/J1D). Pool view (J2P/J1P) and oceanfront (JDM) are available at an additional charge.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy with 2 adults + 1-2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. Brown algae are particularly common in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are committed to cleaning affected beach areas in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of equipment that may generate some noise.
