Veranda cabin

The veranda cabins offer a sense of freedom right outside your cabin door. On 16–20 m² of interior space and a spacious outdoor area of 4–16 m², a harmonious mix of living comfort and fresh sea air is created. Your own veranda with hammock, flexible sleeping arrangements, and a modern bathroom with shower turn this area into a personal favorite spot – ideal for unwinding.

Booking for children under 2 years
Booking can only be made on request. Initially, an option without infant is created. Please note: the maximum occupancy in all cabin categories is 4 persons incl. baby. Subsequently, a binding request with all required data is sent by e-mail. If no option is available, a booking order by e-mail is recommended.

The 5-star hotel Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus is located in the small town of Bayahibe, directly on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, close to the beach. The hotel is approx. 18 km from La Romana airport.

The luxurious hotel has 526 rooms, nestled in a breathtaking natural landscape. Within the complex there are 3 pools (whirlpool, main pool, and sports pool), 1 playground, a large garden, and a tennis court. A total of 6 restaurants (1 main restaurant (buffet) and 5 specialty restaurants), 6 bars, a pool bar, and a snack bar provide for your physical well-being. The double rooms are approx. 37 m² and feature a bathroom/WC, TV, air conditioning, minibar, bathrobe and slippers, tea/coffee maker, safe, iron, king-size or double bed, and a balcony (PR1/PR2/PPR/SPR). Also bookable as Premium Tropical View (PTZ).

Double room Near Pool

Have the same facilities as the double rooms but are located in a preferred position. Additionally offer bathrobes in the room (NPS).

Junior suite

Have the same facilities as the double room Superior but are more spacious with a garden or pool view and a balcony, as well as concierge service (JS2).

DZ Premium Superior Near Pool

Have the same facilities as the double rooms but are located in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Are completely renovated, offer a bathrobe, sound system, and daily turn-down service (DZY).

Junior suite Near Beach

The Junior suite is 43 m² and has the same facilities as the Junior Suite with a king-size bed and is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Additionally, a daily turn-down service and concierge service, as well as a sound system, bathrobe, and beach towels are offered in the room (JB2/JNB/JNE).

Family room

Consist of two double rooms with a connecting door (DF2). Also bookable as Family room Superior, completely renovated and located in building 3 (ZSF).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two double beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Suite Ocean Front (PUJ392I)

The approx. 52 m² suites offer a separate bedroom, a living/sleeping area with seating, and a bathroom with shower/WC. It also features a hair dryer, air conditioning, safe, and balcony (O2F/O1F).

Suite Roof Top private pool (PUJ392I)

With approx. 82 m², they extend over two floors and offer plenty of space. They are located on the top floors and can only be booked for guests aged 18 and over. Amenities include a terrace with pool and sun loungers, king-size bed, TV, bathroom with shower/WC, hair dryer, safe, air conditioning, and balcony (SRT).

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded then. In this case, the beach and the sea are impaired. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal authorities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight noise level.
