Location

The adults-only hotel Secrets La Romana is located directly on the beach on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot. Punta Cana Airport is approx. 40 minutes away by car.

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight level of noise.
