The veranda cabins offer a sense of freedom right outside your cabin door. This may also include barrier-free cabins, cabins with separate beds, restricted views, or connecting doors. Special cabin requests cannot be taken into account; later rebookings or changes are excluded.

Booking for children under 2 years
Booking can only be made on request. Initially, an option without infant is created. Please note: the maximum occupancy in all cabin categories is 4 persons incl. baby. Subsequently, a binding inquiry with all required data is sent by e-mail. If no option is available, a booking request by e-mail is recommended.

The 5-star resort with a total of 520 residential units features an open lobby with reception. 5 à la carte restaurants (Italian, Asian, French, Mexican, fish/seafood - one for adults, one exclusively for Preferred Club guests only for breakfast and lunch, open to everyone for dinner), a buffet restaurant, a snack grill, a café, and 13 bars (3 of which are exclusively for Preferred Club guests) offer plenty of culinary variety. In addition, the hotel has a spacious pool landscape: 5 pools (infinity, relax, kids, Preferred Club family, and Preferred Club adults only) and an aqua park with water slides.

The deluxe rooms (approx. 46m²) are modernly equipped with 1 king-size or 2 double beds, bathroom with shower/WC, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (daily replenishment with soft drinks, beer, water, and juices), coffee/tea maker, safe, furnished terrace or balcony with garden view (DD2/DD1).

Junior suite Tropical View

With the same equipment as the deluxe double room, the junior suites are more spacious (approx. 48m²-54m²) (JD2/JD1). Also bookable with pool view for an extra charge (J2P).

Preferred Club Junior suite Tropical View

With the same equipment as the junior suites, these are located in the Preferred Club area with extra amenities. (approx. 54m²) (JTV). Bookable with pool view (JPV), ocean view (PJO), or direct pool access (PCZ) for an extra charge.
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years for children applies to bookings of these room types at schauinsland-reisen.

Preferred Club

The Preferred Club offers the following amenities: Personalized check-in and check-out, bar, restaurant, butler service, evening turndown service, daily free newspaper in the room (English or Spanish). Private Preferred Club pool and bar.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no additional beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased appearance of brown algae in the Caribbean. The beach and the sea may be affected. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administration. This requires the use of appropriate equipment, which produces a slight background noise.
