Veranda cabin

Veranda cabins offer a feeling of freedom right outside the cabin door. With 16–20 m² of interior space and a generous outdoor area of 4–16 m², a harmonious mix of living comfort and fresh sea air is created. A private veranda with a hammock, flexible sleeping arrangements, and a modern bathroom with a shower turn this area into a personal favorite spot – ideal for relaxing and letting your mind wander.

More space for true vacation moments: Veranda cabins Comfort offer approximately 20 m² of living space and a generous veranda (4–16 m²), ideal for relaxed hours in the fresh sea air. The hammock on the veranda makes the view of the sea a perfect moment of enjoyment.

Booking can only be done on request. First, an option without an infant is created. Please note: the maximum occupancy in all cabin categories is 4 persons incl. baby. Subsequently, a binding inquiry with all required data is sent by email. If no option is available, a booking request by email is recommended.

Important note:

Lopesan Splash Cove

Location

The resort is located in the Playa Bávaro region, about 720 m from the beach and is situated directly on the boulevard of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro. Punta Cana International Airport is only about 18 km away, ensuring a short, pleasant journey. La Romana Airport is about 50 km away. A bus stop is easily accessible in about 1 km.

Facilities

The Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino, opened in 2026, is nestled in a tropical garden of approximately 110,000 m². The modern, open-plan complex with a five-story main building and elevators impresses with short distances and a versatile offer for families with children of all ages. A special highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape with a lagoon pool, several cenote pools, wave pool, as well as the Splash Island Waterpark with slides and water features. The offer is complemented by extensive sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols as well as complimentary towels at the pools and on the beach. Culinarically, guests enjoy a large selection of restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant as well as several à-la-carte restaurants with Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei, and Indian cuisine. Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan room concept of approx. 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, sofa bed, and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace offers a wonderful view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to linger. Further equipment includes air conditioning, minibar (small refrigerator), combination coffee/tea maker, smart TV (50"), telephone, radio, safe, dressing area, as well as an iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom has a toilet, single sink, walk-in shower, hairdryer, and vanity mirror (2KQ). Also bookable with king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With the same equipment, also bookable with a view of the pool area. Either with queen-size bed (YO2) or with king-size bed (FJP).

Family JS Waterpark View-Queen

With the same equipment, also bookable with a view of the waterpark. Either with queen-size bed (FWQ) or with king-size bed (FJW).

Family JS Swim Up-Queen

With otherwise same equipment features, the Family Junior Suites Swim Up have approx. 56 m² of living space as well as a private terrace with direct access to the communal pool (FJU). Also bookable with king-size bed and sofa bed (FSU).
Rooms with direct pool access present an increased potential danger for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children for bookings of these room types.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room; this means occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased appearance of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded then. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administration. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which creates a slight noise level.
