Location

The Dreams La Romana hotel is located directly on the beach, on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe is about a 10-minute walk away. Punta Cana Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate a slight noise level.
