Veranda cabin

Veranda cabins offer a sense of freedom right outside the cabin door. With 16–20 m² of interior space and a spacious outdoor area of 4–16 m², a harmonious mix of living comfort and fresh sea air is created. A private veranda with a hammock, flexible sleeping options, and a modern bathroom with a shower transform this area into a personal favorite spot – ideal for unwinding.

More space for real holiday moments: Veranda cabins Comfort offer around 20 m² of living space and a spacious veranda (4–16 m²), ideal for relaxing hours in the fresh sea air. The hammock on the veranda makes the view of the sea the perfect moment of enjoyment.

The choice is made between Veranda Comfort, Balcony, Ocean-view, or Interior cabin. The exact cabin and deck allocation is handled by AIDA Cruises. This may also include barrier-free cabins, cabins with separate beds, restricted views, or connecting doors. Special cabin requests cannot be considered; subsequent rebookings or changes are excluded.

Booking for children under 2 years
The booking can only be made on request. Initially, an option without infant is created. Please note: the maximum occupancy in all cabin categories is 4 persons including a baby. Subsequently, a binding inquiry with all required data is sent by email. If no option is available, a booking order via email is recommended.

Important note:
Persons residing in areas sanctioned by OFAC are excluded from participating in cruises. Citizens of Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Ukraine can only be transported with proof of permanent residence outside the aforementioned regions.

Dreams La Romana

Location

The Dreams La Romana hotel is located directly on the beach, on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot. Punta Cana airport is approx. 45 minutes away by car.

The luxury resort, designed in a typical Caribbean style, has 418 rooms and is situated in the middle of a spacious, tropical garden lined with palm trees. Amenities include an open-plan lobby with a reception, a souvenir shop, and various shopping options. Eight restaurants ensure culinary well-being. Among other things, there are grilled specialties on the beach and a pizzeria by the pool. In addition, the hotel offers eight bars, four pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. The dreamlike outdoor area features a spacious pool landscape with 2 pools. An on-site water park with a lazy river completes the diverse range of offerings.

Premium Garden View

With otherwise the same amenities, the Premium rooms are more spacious and have a marble floor (GP2).

Preferred Club Garden View

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Garden View rooms, these rooms additionally offer the following services: private check-in/out, pillow menu, turndown service, expanded minibar, bath accessories, exclusive Preferred Club Lounge, private beach section, and an exclusive pool area (2HQ). Also bookable with side sea view (2HU) or as a swim-out room (WH2).
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children when booking these room types at schauinsland-reisen.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased incidence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. The beach and the sea may be affected. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal authorities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which emits a slight noise level.
