This 5-star resort with a total of 520 units features an open lobby with reception. There are 5 à la carte restaurants (Italian, Asian, French, Mexican, Fish/Seafood – one for adults, one exclusively for Preferred Club guests only for breakfast and lunch, open for all in the evening), a buffet restaurant, a snack grill, a café, and 13 bars (3 of which are exclusive to Preferred Club guests), offering a great variety of dining options. The hotel also has a spacious pool area: 5 pools (Infinity, Relax, Kids, Preferred Club Family, and Preferred Club Adults only) and a water park with slides.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe rooms (approx. 46m²) are modernly furnished with 1 king-size or 2 double beds, bathroom with shower/WC, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks, beer, water, and juices), coffee/tea maker, safe, furnished terrace or balcony with garden view (DD2/DD1).

Junior Suite Tropical View

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Room, the Junior Suites are more spacious (approx. 48m²–54m²) (JD2/JD1). Pool view available for an additional charge (J2P).

Preferred Club Junior Suite Tropical View

Same amenities as the Junior Suites, these are located in the Preferred Club area with additional amenities. (approx. 54m²) (JTV). Pool view (JPV), ocean view (PJO), or direct pool access (PCZ) available for an extra charge. Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types for safety reasons.

Preferred Club

The Preferred Club offers the following amenities: personal check-in and check-out, bar, restaurant, butler service, daily complimentary newspaper in the room (English or Spanish). Private Preferred Club pool and bar.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are added to the room, meaning occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation! Additionally, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there can be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, the presence of brown algae in the Caribbean can then be more frequent. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach areas in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary, which generates a slight noise level.
