The Dreams La Romana hotel is located directly on the beach on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe is about a 10-minute walk away. Punta Cana Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

The luxury resort, designed in a typical Caribbean style, features a total of 418 rooms set amidst extensive tropical gardens lined with palm trees. Amenities include an open-plan lobby with a reception, a souvenir shop, and various shopping facilities. Eight restaurants cater to your culinary needs, including beachside grill specialties and a poolside pizzeria. Additionally, the hotel offers eight bars, four pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. The magnificent outdoor area boasts a spacious pool landscape with two pools. A hotel-owned water park with a lazy river completes the diverse offerings.

Deluxe Garden View

The luxuriously furnished rooms, decorated in a modern style, feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, flat-screen cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board, safe, minibar (daily replenished with water, soft drinks, juices, and beer), and a furnished balcony or terrace (G2W). Also available for single occupancy at an additional charge. With partial sea view at an additional charge (DDS).

Preferred Club Garden View

In addition to the same amenities as the Deluxe Garden View rooms, these rooms offer: private check-in/out, pillow menu, turndown service, enhanced minibar, bath amenities, exclusive Preferred Club Lounge, private beach area, and an exclusive pool area (2HQ). Also available with partial sea view (2HU) or as swim-out rooms (WH2).

The suites consist of a bedroom and a separate living room, a bathroom with hydro-massage bathtub, hairdryer, alarm clock with MP3 connection, flat-screen cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board, safe, minibar (daily replenished with water, soft drinks, juices, and beer), and a furnished balcony or terrace (N2W).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy with 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, increased amounts of brown algae are often recorded in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause a slight background noise.
