Location

The Dreams La Romana hotel is located directly on the beach on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Punta Cana airport is approximately 45 minutes by car.

The luxury resort, designed in a typical Caribbean style, features a total of 418 rooms set within a spacious tropical garden lined with palm trees. Amenities include an open-design lobby with reception, a souvenir shop, and various shopping options. Culinary needs are met by eight restaurants, including a beachfront grill and a poolside pizzeria. The hotel also offers eight bars, four pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. The stunning outdoor area features an extensive pool complex with 2 pools. A hotel-owned water park with a Lazy River completes the diverse offerings.

Deluxe Garden View

The luxuriously and modernly furnished rooms feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, flat-screen cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board, safe, minibar (daily refill with water, soft drinks, juices and beer), as well as a furnished balcony or terrace (G2W). Also bookable for single occupancy at an additional charge.

Premium Garden View

With otherwise the same equipment, the premium rooms are more spacious and feature marble flooring (GP2).

Preferred Club Garden View

With the same equipment as the Deluxe Garden View rooms, these rooms additionally offer the following amenities: private check-in/out, pillow menu, turndown service, extended minibar, bath amenities, exclusive Preferred Club lounge, private beach section, and exclusive pool area (2HQ). Also bookable with side sea view (2HU) or as swim-out rooms (WH2).
Rooms with direct pool access present an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for bookings of these room types via Schauinsland-Reisen, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for safety reasons.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, due to wind, temperature, and currents, there may be increased occurrences of sea grass and algae. In particular, the Caribbean often experiences increased amounts of brown algae during this period. This affects the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities endeavor to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may produce some noise.
