The 25,000 m² resort belonging to the Viva Hotel chain is located directly on a 900 m long beach, opposite the enchanting islands of Saona and Catalina. Punta Cana Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

This beautiful hotel is located directly on the beach and features 712 rooms, 7 restaurants ("La Terraza" - buffet restaurant, "La Roca" - Mediterranean cuisine buffet style, "Viva-Mexico" - Mexican restaurant, "La Trattoria" - Italian Pizza, "25" - specialty restaurant, "Atlantis" - seafood restaurant, "Palito de Coco" - Dominican (in the Palace, partly for a fee), Fusion Latino, Il Palco), as well as 3 bars, a snack bar, a theater, an air-conditioned disco, a dive center, a boutique, a hairdresser, a photo shop, a conference room, and laundry facilities. The tropical landscaped outdoor area includes 5 freshwater pools and an infinity pool. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in designated areas of the hotel complex.

The rooms are spread across different two-story buildings with garden views. They feature a Queen-size bed, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, safe (for a fee), cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (D/DE).

Superior Double Room

The Superior rooms with garden views are also spread across the different two-story buildings. They feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe (for a fee), cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace (DSU/DEU/KDSUK2).

Bungalows

The bungalows, built in a typical Caribbean style with coral stone and thatched roofs, face the sea (with garden views) and feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, mini-fridge, safe (for a fee), cable TV, telephone, and a terrace (B12). Also bookable as Ocean Front Bungalows (O2C/O1C).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For a booking of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause a slight background noise.
