Directly on a very beautiful bay. Shops and entertainment options in Sosua, about a 10-minute walk away. The transfer time from Puerto Plata airport is about 20 minutes.

Facilities

The Select at Casa Marina Adults Only area is part of the Casa Marina Beach & Reef, with a total of 520 rooms, a reception, several bars, a buffet restaurant: El Batey, a Tex-Mex restaurant: El Paso, an Italian restaurant, and a seafood restaurant (Sea-Scape at Casa Marina Beach). Boutiques, a souvenir shop, a beauty salon, and a disco are also located in the Casa Marina Reef area. Towards the beach, there are attractively designed garden and pool landscapes with 2 swimming pools (one with a separate children's pool, animation pool, 2 of which are Adults Only), and a sun terrace. Above the beach, in the lava rocks, there are 3 whirlpools with a great view of the sea.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. The beach and sea are affected by this. Hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight noise.
