Location

The hotel is ideally located on the Samana Peninsula, just a few minutes from the town center and approx. 3-4 hours from Puerto Plata Airport. Situated directly between Samana Bay and Escocesa Bay, the beautiful natural surroundings with dreamlike sandy beaches invite you for a swim. Santo Domingo Airport is approx. 162 km away. From January to March, the bays offer a unique natural spectacle as many humpback whales gather here for mating.

The hotel complex features 197 rooms and 87 junior suites spread throughout the resort. General facilities include an air-conditioned non-smoking buffet restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (Gourmet, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisine), 4 bars (snack bar, lobby bar, pool bar, disco bar), shops, conference rooms, 1 panoramic elevator with sea view, parking, ballroom, various shops, 2 outdoor swimming pools with whirlpools, a hydromassage swimming pool, a large sun terrace with loungers, parasols, and towel service by the pools. Double room

Standard rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or double beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, full bathroom, hairdryer, minibar (soft drinks and beer included), telephone, safe, satellite TV, a breakfast table with chairs, and a terrace (D/DE). Also available to book with sea view, although this may be a limited sea view due to vegetation (DM/DEM).

Junior Suite Superior

Same amenities as the double room, but more spacious with a seating area and sofa bed, and a bathtub with whirlpool (2JS).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

A wristband is required to use the all-inclusive services. Dress code in restaurants: Swimwear is generally not permitted. In the specialty restaurants, Bermuda shorts, shorts, sleeveless shirts, and sandals are also generally not permitted. Gentlemen must wear long trousers. In case of low hotel occupancy, various restaurants may be temporarily closed.
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the main living area of the hotel room without a separate space.

Seasonal Information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often observed more frequently in the Caribbean during this period. This can affect the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. This requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may produce some noise.
