Location

The beautiful small holiday complex of the famous Viva Wyndham chain is located in the northwest in Playa Dorada and is a few minutes' walk from the gently sloping sandy beach of Puerto Plata. The airport is approx. 16 km away.

The complex consists of 190 rooms and is built in Caribbean style. The hotel has a modern reception, a souvenir shop, a buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch, 4 à la carte restaurants (fusion, Italian, Mexican and Dominican cuisine) and a snack bar. The dreamlike swimming pool landscape includes an integrated whirlpool and a sun terrace. Wi-Fi is free throughout the complex. Sunbeds and beach towels are included.

Double Superior "Nirvana"

The rooms have a bathroom, shower/WC, air conditioning, hairdryer, coffee maker, TV, telephone, 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds and also offer a balcony (DSU).

Junior Suite "Amnesia"

The Junior Suites are larger than the Double Superior and offer an additional living area with a sofa in the room (JS2).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates some noise.
