The hotel is located directly on the fine sandy beach of Costa Dorada. The transfer time to Puerto Plata Airport is approx. 30 minutes. The center of Puerto Plata is only a 5-minute drive away.

Facilities

The spacious complex offers 516 rooms in 9 three-story buildings. The hotel has a main restaurant with buffets where show cooking is offered in the evening. There are also 3 specialty restaurants (Italian, Mexican, Japanese), a snack bar, a pool bar, and 4 other bars. In the extensive garden is the pool landscape with a children's pool and a swim-up bar. Small shopping center with a souvenir shop and a supermarket. Sunbeds, Suns umbrellas, and bath towels are included at the pool and beach.

Double Room

The stylish double rooms with 2 single beds or 1 kingsize bed have a bathroom with shower and toilet, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, cable TV, iron and ironing board, safe (free of charge), minibar (beer, soft drinks incl.) and balcony or terrace (D/DE/KD). Bookable as Premium Room from 1.11.2023 (PR1/PR2).

Double Room Superior

Equipped like the double rooms, these are located in a quieter area of the hotel and near the beach (DSU). Bookable as Premium Near Beach from 1.11.2023 (BPN).

Junior Suite Ocean Front

The Junior Suites have a kingsize bed or two double beds, are located directly on the beach and have a sea view. Furthermore, iron/ironing board, coffee machine, bathrobe, balcony, bathroom with bathtub and access to the hydrotherapy area of the spa (2JO).

Family Room

The family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, consisting of two double rooms with a connecting door and two balconies. The free childcare service can be used until 10 p.m. (DF2).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queensize beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal Note

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often observed during this period. The beach and sea are affected by this. Hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight noise.
