Location

Situated in the middle of the Playa Dorada hotel zone, the hotel is approx. 100 m from the beach and is in direct proximity to a golf course. It is approx. 3 km to Puerto Plata. The Puerto Plata airport is about a 20-minute drive away.

Facilities

The Adults Only hotel complex with 245 rooms features a reception, 4 bars (including a pool bar, non-alcoholic chill-out bar, night bar, beach bar), a main restaurant, 3 à-la-carte restaurants (seafood restaurant, Chinese cuisine, grill), a snack bar, souvenir shop, fitness center, spa, and theater. Sun loungers and parasols are available at the 3 swimming pools. The pool bar has a seating terrace, and the beach bar is partially covered.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 3 adults, no additional beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, increased occurrences of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased emergence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight background noise.
