Location

Located in the heart of the Playa Dorada hotel zone, the hotel is approximately 100m from the beach and situated close to a golf course. Puerto Plata is about 3 km away. Puerto Plata Airport is approximately a 20-minute drive.

Facilities

The adults-only hotel complex with 245 rooms features a reception, 4 bars (including pool bar, non-alcoholic chill-out bar, night bar, beach bar), main restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (seafood, Chinese cuisine, grill), a snack bar, souvenir shop, fitness center, spa, and theater. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the 3 swimming pools. The pool bar has a seating terrace and the beach bar is partially covered.

Double Room

The rooms feature 1 king-size bed or two queen-size beds, bathroom with shower/WC, mirror, hairdryer, air conditioning, cable TV (golf channel), telephone, alarm clock, rental safe ($3 per day), minibar (refilled once upon arrival), coffee maker, iron and ironing board (D).

Single Room

Double room for single occupancy (DE).

Double Room Plus

The rooms are equipped like the double rooms and additionally have a balcony or terrace (DCP/ADC).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly without a room partition in the main living area of the hotel room.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found more frequently in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
