Location

The resort, part of the Viva hotel chain, is located on the northeast coast in Las Terrenas-Samana. It is approximately 5 km to Las Terrenas. Santo Domingo Airport is about 120 minutes away by car.

This adults-only hotel with 286 rooms is located directly on the beach and features 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a boutique, a gift shop, a photo shop, and a car rental service. The outdoor area includes a pool and two jacuzzis. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool, and sun loungers are provided at the beach.

The rooms feature 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, air conditioning, bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer, coffee maker, minibar, safe (included), cable TV, telephone, iron and ironing board, and complimentary Wi-Fi. All rooms also have a balcony. Also available for single occupancy.

Double Room Type A "Vibe"

These rooms feature a king-size bed, air conditioning, bathroom with shower and toilet, cable TV, espresso machine, minibar, telephone, hairdryer, safe (included), iron, ironing board, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a terrace. In addition, these rooms offer access to a private plunge pool. Also available for single occupancy.

Bungalow

With the same amenities as the Double Room Type A "Vibe," the bungalows feature 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds and additionally offer a rainfall shower in the bathroom, an expanded minibar, turndown service, and 24-hour room service. They are located in an exclusive jungle area and also feature a private plunge pool. Guests also receive a $15 credit for the spa center.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently observed during this time, which may affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administration. However, this requires the use of appropriate machinery, which may cause some minor noise.
