Location

Inspired by the elegant architecture of Venice, the Ducale Lara has reopened its doors after renovations in winter 2024-2025. The resort is located directly on the sandy beach (partially with small pebbles) of Lara. The center of Kundu with shopping and entertainment facilities is about 5 km away, the city center of Antalya is approx. 20 km, and the airport is approx. 15 km away. Taxis and buses are available in front of the hotel.

The resort covers a total area of 118,000 m² and consists of a main building and annex buildings with a total of 543 rooms. Among the various amenities are the spacious lobby with reception, comfortable seating areas and lobby bar, the buffet restaurant with terrace, various à la carte restaurants (reservations required and a fee applies), several bars, a wellness center, and the indoor pool with children's pool (heated in winter at the hotel's discretion). Wi-Fi is included in the rooms and public areas. Various shops, conference rooms, and a hairdresser are available for a fee. The beautifully landscaped garden area features a spacious freshwater pool landscape with a separate children's pool and sun terraces. The 3,200 m² aqua park offers entertainment for adults and children with various water slides (open for specific hours and age/height restrictions apply to some slides); the Olympic swimming pool is exclusively for guests aged 18 and over. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the hotel's own beach with a bathing jetty.

Accommodation

Double Room

The rooms, approx. 28-30 m², are comfortably furnished with a shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, LCD satellite TV, direct dial telephone, kettle, coffee/tea making facilities, air conditioning (centrally controlled, weather-dependent), safe, Wi-Fi, minibar, laminate flooring, and balcony (D). Rooms with side sea view are bookable at an extra charge (DMS). DZ=EZ for single occupancy (DE/DES).

Double Room Garden View

With otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms, these are slightly more spacious (approx. 28 m²) with a double bed and a sofa, and have a seating area on the terrace (DG). DZ=EZ for single occupancy (DEG).

Double Room Swim Up

With otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms, these are slightly more spacious (approx. 40 m²) with a double bed and a sofa bed, a seating area, and a coffee machine. They offer direct access to an infinity pool (shared pool) and have their own sun loungers (SWD). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for security reasons for children, schauinsland-reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Corner Suite

The suite consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, and two bathrooms, and has a size of approx. 60 m². With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, it additionally includes bathrobes and a coffee machine. (S2).

Junior Suite

The approx. 55 m² rooms consist of a bedroom and a living area and have a double bed as well as an L-shaped sofa bed. With similar amenities to the double rooms, they also offer a coffee machine and a whirlpool on the terrace, with land view (JS2).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet with diet corner, late breakfast, midnight buffet, snacks throughout the day, patisserie, and ice cream at specified times. Various local and imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included 24 hours a day at the respective open bars. The minibar is replenished daily with still water, soft drinks, and beer.
