Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
Measuring approx. 13 m², the inside cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some offer twin beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. Measuring approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins can accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The thoughtful design and generous feeling of space make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and accommodate 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro," the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by guests themselves (partly for a fee and by reservation). Dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. The MyItalian gourmet package can be added to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of the day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drink package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian way of life on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensive and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for athletic activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports field and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous opportunities for exercise and sporting balance under the open sky. Thus, activity, relaxation, and the holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows you to design your personal fitness program flexibly during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam with games and creative activities in the Mini Club (3–6 years), the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activities program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions for making new friends and spending varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over around 6,000 m² across four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium, as well as several whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by diverse wellness, beauty, and massage treatments, which invite you to relaxing time-outs and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events, and other on-board events that provide for social hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky cabin: When booking a "Lucky" cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is chosen, but the cabin number and deck allocation are made by Costa. This may include cabins with twin beds, connecting doors, restricted views, or accessible cabins. The dining time in the main restaurants is also set by Costa.

Riu Buenavista

Location

The hotel is located in Playa Paraiso, directly by the sea. A small beach and shopping facilities can be reached after about 500 m. It is about 10 km to Costa Adeje and Tenerife South Airport is about 30 km away.

Fully renovated in 2020, the hotel consists of a 9-story main building and a 5-story annex building with 542 rooms. It has a reception, a buffet restaurant, two further buffet restaurants (Asian, Italian), a grill restaurant by the pool, and a lobby bar. In the outdoor area, there is an infinity pool (not heated), 3 swimming pools (1x adults-only), a children's pool with slides, and a baby pool (all heated in winter), a sun terrace with free loungers and umbrellas, as well as a pool bar. Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire hotel complex and in the rooms.

With otherwise the same equipment as the double rooms, the family rooms additionally feature a separate living room with a sofa bed. The bathroom has a shower, separate WC, as well as a balcony (DF2).
