Interior cabin

The modern and functionally furnished interior cabins on the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the interior cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some offer twin beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Exterior cabin

The exterior cabins of the Costa Smeralda feature a large window or portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and accommodate 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants on board provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the “Pummid’Oro” pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the “Tutti a Tavola” family restaurant, and the “Laboratorio del Gusto,” where selected dishes can be prepared yourself (partly for a fee and by reservation). Dining times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of the day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam with games and creative activities in the Mini Club (3–6 years), the Maxi Club (7–11 years) offers a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting places. This provides young guests with the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holidays.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a disco, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse onboard program offers numerous opportunities for enjoyable hours at sea both during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 meters, which offers impressive views of the sea.

Lucky cabin: When booking a “Lucky cabin,” the desired cabin category (interior, exterior, or balcony cabin) is chosen, but the assignment of the cabin number and deck is made by Costa. Alua Tenerife

Location

The renovated Hotel Alua Tenerife is located in Puerto de la Cruz. The town center is approx. 1 km away, and it is a 2-minute walk (approx. 150m) to the volcanic sand beach Playa Jardin, a creation of the artist Cesar Manrique. Tenerife North Airport is approx. 25 km away, and Reina Sofia Airport is approx. 80 km away.
The world-famous Loro Parque is a 10-minute walk away.

Facilities

The extensively renovated family hotel features 424 rooms on 5 floors, accessible via 6 elevators. In addition, the building has a panoramic lift that goes to the top floor, where there is a terrace with an impressive view over the city and the coast. The hotel facilities also include a reception and 2 conference rooms. The hotel has a very beautiful and spacious pool area with 2 outdoor pools (one heated), including 1 children's pool (sun loungers and umbrellas included), a heated indoor pool (for a fee), pool towels (for a deposit), and a children's playground. There is a mini-market, 3 bars, a buffet restaurant, as well as an à-la-carte restaurant (for a fee).
