Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some beds are separate. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or some portholes and offer a beautiful ocean view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants ensure culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro", the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where you can prepare selected dishes yourself (partly for a fee and reservation required). The meal times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafes (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

The MyItalian enjoyment package can be booked in addition to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of the day. This includes cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. The offer is completed by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drinks package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian attitude to life on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent view of the sea offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength machines allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.

Various classes such as yoga, pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). Thus, your personal fitness program can also be flexibly designed during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam with games and creative activities in the Mini-Club (3–6 years), the Maxi-Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holidays.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a disco and a casino for guests aged 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
Four pools are available for relaxation and swimming fun, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua-Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.

Alua Tenerife

Location

The renovated Alua Tenerife hotel is located in Puerto de la Cruz. The town center is approx. 1 km away and it is about a 2-minute walk (approx. 150m) to the volcanic sand beach Playa Jardin, a work by the artist Cesar Manrique. Tenerife North Airport is approx. 25 km away and Reina Sofia Airport is approx. 80 km away.
You can reach the world-famous Loro Parque after approx. a 10-minute walk.

Amenities

The extensively renovated family hotel has 424 rooms on 5 floors, which can be reached via 6 elevators. In addition, the building has a panoramic elevator that goes to the top floor, where there is a terrace with an impressive view over the city and the coast. The hotel's amenities also include a reception and 2 conference rooms. The hotel has a very beautiful and spacious pool area with 2 outdoor pools (one heated), including 1 children's pool (sun loungers and parasols included), heated indoor pool (for a fee), pool towels (for a deposit) and a children's playground. There is a mini-market, 3 bars, a buffet restaurant, as well as an à la carte restaurant (for a fee).
