Inside Cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambiance for restful days at sea. Amenities include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), as well as Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some are equipped with separate beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Outside Cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The thoughtful design and spacious feel make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony Cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full Board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include, among others, a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro," the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by guests themselves (partly for a fee and by reservation). Dinner seating times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors. The Costa Smeralda thus offers diverse culinary moments for every taste.

In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drink package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for athletic activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous possibilities for movement and sporting balance in the open air. Activity, relaxation, and holiday experiences can thus be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness program to remain flexible even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program at the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam at the Mini-Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi-Club (7–11 years) offers a diverse entertainment and activities program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests will find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) spans about 6,000 m² across four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Amenities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium, as well as multiple whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by varied wellness, beauty, and massage treatments, which invite you to enjoy restful time-outs and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub, and a casino for guests 18 and older. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including an indoor pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua-Park with multiple water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which allows for impressive views of the sea.

Lucky Cabin: When booking a "Lucky Cabin," the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected, while the assignment of the cabin number and deck is made by Costa. Alua Tenerife

Location

The renovated Hotel Alua Tenerife is located in Puerto de la Cruz. The town center is approx. 1 km away, and the volcanic sand beach Playa Jardin, a work by artist Cesar Manrique, is about a 2-minute walk (approx. 150m). Tenerife North Airport is approx. 25 km away, and Reina Sofia Airport is approx. 80 km away.
The world-famous Loro Parque can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot.

Amenities

The extensively renovated family hotel features 424 rooms over 5 floors, accessible via 6 elevators. In addition, the building has a panoramic elevator that travels to the top floor, where there is a terrace with an impressive view of the city and the coast. The hotel amenities also include a reception and 2 conference rooms. The hotel has a very beautiful and spacious pool area with 2 outdoor pools (one heated), including 1 children's pool (sun loungers and parasols included), a heated indoor pool (for a fee), pool towels (for a deposit), and a children's playground. There is a mini-market, 3 bars, a buffet restaurant, as well as an à-la-carte restaurant (for a fee).
