Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
Measuring approx. 13 m², the inside cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on cabin location and category, some offer twin beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Ocean-view cabin

The ocean-view cabins on the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. Measuring approx. 20 m², these cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds). Facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the ocean-view cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where you can prepare selected dishes yourself (partly for a fee and by reservation). Dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic range is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café and two Amarillo ice cream parlours. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied culinary moments for every taste.

The MyItalian gourmet package can be added to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies and bitters, such as Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. For additional sporting activities, various courses such as Yoga, Pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam with games and creative activities in the Mini Club (3–6 years), the Maxi Club (7–11 years) has a diverse entertainment and activities program ready.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. This ensures young guests have the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theatre, live music, a piano bar, a disco and a casino for guests aged 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for pleasant hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including an indoor pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 metres, which allows for impressive views of the sea.

Alua Tenerife

Location

The renovated Alua Tenerife Hotel is located in Puerto de la Cruz. The town centre is approx. 1 km away and it takes about 2 minutes on foot (approx. 150m) to reach the volcanic sand beach Playa Jardin, a creation of artist Cesar Manrique. Tenerife North Airport is approx. 25 km away and Reina Sofia Airport is approx. 80 km away.
You can reach the world-famous Loro Parque in about 10 minutes on foot.

Facilities

The extensively renovated family hotel has 424 rooms over 5 floors, accessible via 6 lifts. Furthermore, the building has a panoramic lift that goes to the top floor, where there is a terrace with impressive views over the city and the coast. The hotel facilities also include a reception and 2 conference rooms. The hotel features a very beautiful and spacious pool area with 2 outdoor pools (one heated), including 1 children's pool (sun loungers and parasols included), a heated indoor pool (for a fee), pool towels (for a deposit) and a children's playground. There is a mini-market, 3 bars, a buffet restaurant, as well as an à-la-carte restaurant (for a fee).
