Location

In the pedestrian zone, a few minutes' walk from the center with the popular "Plaza del Charco" and approx. 600 m from the seawater swimming pools. Since the hotel is located in the pedestrian zone, the transfer bus cannot drive directly to the hotel. A short distance (approx. 50 m) has to be covered on foot. San Telmo is approx. 100 m away.

Facilities

The Hotel Monopol is different; in local style and with the charm of bygone eras. The hotel has been run by the same family for over 75 years and offers all modern comforts. It is spacious enough so that no one has to feel cramped, but also small enough to continue it in the old style, according to the motto: "Making friends out of guests".
The facade welcomes you with Canarian wooden balconies. Past reception, you enter a typical inner courtyard that invites you to linger. Surrounded on all sides by hand-carved verandas, palm trees grow there and tropical climbing plants wind their way up to the glass roof that covers everything.
The hotel has a total of 92 rooms, 170 beds, a Canarian palm hall, lounges, game and TV rooms, a restaurant, and 2 bars. In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (25º), a whirlpool (35º), and 3 sun terraces.
