The Aparthotel Columbus is located near the Playa de las Américas golf course, opposite the football and athletics stadium, in the most popular holiday area of the Canaries in the south of Tenerife. It is approximately 800 metres to the beach and the centre with its variety of bars and shops, and approximately 17 km to Tenerife South Airport.

The family-friendly complex with its unique architecture features a 24-hour reception as well as a restaurant, the main buffet restaurant serving international cuisine, a snack bar, and a pizzeria with Italian and international cuisine (à la carte) (seasonally open). In addition to 4 freshwater pools, the complex offers guests a pub in the pool area (seasonally open), a disco pub, a lounge, a conference room for 75 people, a lift, a salon, a hairdresser, a souvenir shop, and a supermarket with a bakery.
