Location

Located below the "Coromoto" church in the town of La Guancha, with a magnificent view of the coast and the sea, surrounded by agricultural land with vineyards, potatoes, fruit trees, and some vegetables. The center of La Guancha is 600 m away. In the immediate vicinity, about 300 m away, there are also options for small purchases, as well as a restaurant and bar. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the coast, where you can find beaches, natural coves, and a swimming pool in the towns of San Marcos, Las Aguas, and Charco del Viento. Puerto de la Cruz is 14 km away, and the southern airport Reina Sofia is 110 km away.

Facilities

The 100-year-old house was restored in 1999 with all the luxury and comfort, while respecting the traditional Canarian architecture, creating 2 separate living units. A larger unit (H22) for max. 4 people and a small apartment (H12) for max. 2 people.
The outdoor terraces are shared by both units. Here you will find spacious terraces with tables, chairs, and sun loungers, as well as a barbecue and a wood-fired oven. There is also a bathroom with a shower in this outdoor area. A room with a washing machine and dryer is available to guests free of charge.
The house is surrounded by a 1000 m² garden that is always in bloom, as well as 2000 m² of land with grapes, potatoes, and vegetables. The view is completely unobstructed and sparsely populated. The roof terrace also offers a particularly beautiful view.

Accommodation

Casa 1

Casa 1 is a small apartment with one room with 2 single beds and a small seating area, a separate narrow kitchen equipped with a stove with ceramic hobs, a microwave with grill, toaster, and coffee machine. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small shower room with toilet/bidet + sink. TV with international channels.
The entire decoration in both units is very elaborate, stylishly done with the excellent taste of the owners. Many old items have been collected, restored, and give guests the impression of being in an interesting and valuable museum. Both houses also have electric heaters (H12) for cooler days.
Also bookable for single occupancy (H11).

Casa 2

Casa 2 has 130 m² of living space + 40 m² of covered front terrace. This living unit is built on 2 levels. In the lower area along the terrace is the large eat-in kitchen with a dining table and 6 chairs and a cozy living room with a seating area and fireplace. TV with international channels. All rooms have an unobstructed view of the coast/sea. The kitchen is finely equipped with beautiful crockery, a stove with 4 ceramic hobs, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, toaster, juicer. The bedroom on the lower level has 2 single beds and a bathroom with a shower (massage jets and steam bath)/toilet/bidet + sink. The bedroom on the upper level has a French bed and a bathroom with a bathtub/toilet/bidet + sink (H22).

Please inform the accommodation in advance about your arrival time at the Finca/meeting point on the day of arrival (all further information can be found on your booking confirmation). The drive from Tenerife South Airport to Casa Cho Juan takes approx. 2 hours. Should you be delayed, we kindly ask you to inform the accommodation accordingly.
If no prior information has been passed on to the accommodation, check-in will be self-managed. A key safe has been installed at the entrance of the accommodation for this purpose (you will also receive the code with your booking confirmation).
