Location

Finca las Barandas is approx. 10 minutes by car from Playa San Marcos beach in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos. The village of Icod de los Vinos is only 10 minutes away by car. The finca mainly cultivates bananas, but also has mango, avocado, and other tropical trees. All living units are located on the approx. 2000m2 finca and are surrounded by banana plantations. The town of Puerto de la Cruz can be reached in approx. 30 minutes by car.

Finca Las Barandas consists of a main house in traditional Canarian architectural style with lots of wood and bricks. The main house comprises two separate living units (one unit is used privately and Casa Aguacatero). Each unit has its own separate entrance. Near the main house, you will find the small cottage Casa Estudio. The completely renovated house Casa Vista al Mar is located about 40m away, and slightly further away is the house Casa Acacia, also renovated. Free Wi-Fi in all units (ask the owner for the password).

Accommodation

2-Bedroom Apartment (Casa Aguatero)

This living unit (apartment) occupies part of the main house and has its own entrance with parking facilities on the property. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, one with two single beds 90x200cm and the second with two single beds 90x190cm. The kitchen integrated into the living room is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, extractor hood, refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, coffee machine, and a table with 4 chairs. The living room has a sofa, side table, wardrobe, and satellite TV. The spacious bathroom is equipped with two sinks, a large mirror, a cosmetic mirror, a spacious shower, toilet, bidet, and hairdryer. The unit also has a washing machine (integrated into the kitchen). Outside, there is a large terrace with sun loungers, a small table, a large wooden table with chairs, a bench, a parasol, and a drying rack and grill. A second terrace equipped with wooden benches and a large side table is shared with the privately used living unit Casa Mango (A22).

Studio (Casitas Estudio)

The studio is located approx. 10 meters from the main house and also has its own entrance and parking facilities on the property. The modernly furnished studio has a living area with a sofa, side table, and floor lamp. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, extractor hood, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, coffee machine, juicer, and kettle, and satellite TV. In the garden area, there is a terrace with sun loungers, a side table, a parasol, a large table with chairs, a drying rack, and a grill. Guests of this unit can use the washing machine in a separate laundry room (key provided by the finca management if desired). (S12)

House Casita Vista Mar

This cottage is located approx. 40m from the main building and has a separate entrance via Camino Cuatro Caminos (see plan) with parking within the finca. The house has a bedroom with a double bed (160x190cm), a spacious bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and hairdryer. The kitchen integrated into the living area is equipped with a ceramic hob, extractor hood, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, juicer, kettle, and a boiler for hot water in the bathroom and kitchen, as well as a table with two chairs. The unit also has a washing machine (integrated into the kitchen). The living room has a sofa, satellite TV, side table, and wardrobe. Outside, there is a solarium made of lava gravel with sea views, equipped with sun loungers, a side table, a parasol, a wooden table with two chairs, a drying rack, and a grill (H12).

House Casitas Acacia

The Acacia cottage is located approx. 80m from the main building and has a separate entrance via Camino Cuatro Caminos (see plan) with parking within the finca. The house has two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed 150x190cm and the other with two single beds 90x190cm, a bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, hairdryer, and boiler, and a washing machine. The kitchen integrated into the living area has a ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, toaster, coffee machine, juicer, and kettle. The living room is equipped with a sofa and an armchair, a side table, wooden furniture for dishes and books, and satellite TV. The terrace has sun loungers, a parasol, a table, chairs, an awning, a drying rack, and a grill (H22).
