Location

The newly built hotel (Summer 2024), situated on a hillside, offers sea views and is easily accessible. Close to the island capital San Sebastian with shopping facilities, a swimming bay, and a restaurant. It is approximately 5 km to the port of La Gomera and approx. 34 km to the airport. The pebble beach of Avalo, a small swimming bay with crystal-clear water, is only two kilometers away.

Facilities

The hotel has 276 rooms spread over 3 floors with elevators. The expansive grounds include 5 heatable pools (2 of which are infinity pools and 2 children's pools), a naturist sun terrace for adults, 4 restaurants (à la carte and buffet), various bars with snacks and cocktails ("Támara" snack bar, "Agua Guisada" lobby bar, "Silbo Lounge Bar", "Guro Show Bar" and "Maraire" pool bar), a children's club and playground, a billiard room, library, wellness and fitness area, a room for bicycles, parking spaces (including charging stations for electric cars), as well as rooms for events of any kind. The resort also features an eco-farm.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel free of charge. Relaxation is the top priority here, whether at one of the infinity pools or in the spa. The Bancal Hotel is the ideal starting point to discover the centuries-old landscapes, enchanting hiking trails, and local traditions of La Gomera. The approximately 29m² double rooms feature a king-size bed or two single beds (upon customer request), bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, vanity mirror, coffee machine/kettle, minibar (for a fee), satellite TV, safe, wardrobe, desk, free Wi-Fi, telephone, and air conditioning. Additionally, a terrace with sun loungers and partial sea view (from the terrace), welcome gift, discount at the Auala Wellness & Spa, and for stays of 5 nights or more, 1 x Spa Water Circuit included (DT2).

Bancal Double Room Garden View

The approximately 29m² double rooms feature a king-size bed or two single beds (upon customer request), bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, vanity mirror, coffee machine/kettle, minibar (for a fee), satellite TV, safe, wardrobe, desk, free Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, and a furnished terrace with a direct view of the garden (2GD/3GD).
Also bookable for single occupancy (1GD).

Bancal Double Room Sea View

Equipped the same as the Bancal Double Room Garden View, with an additional partial sea view (MBB/BDM). Optionally bookable as Type B Bancal Ocean with sea view (MCB).
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Junior Suite Sea View

The junior suites are spacious and bright and feature the same basic amenities as the Bancal Double Room Garden View. They feature a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed and an additional TV. Additionally equipped with a coffee machine, steam iron, welcome gift, and for stays of 5 nights or more, 1 x Spa Water Circuit included. There is also an additional terrace with sun loungers (J2M).

Family Room Sea View

This room type consists of two Bancal Double Rooms with Sea View with a connecting door. It features 2 balconies/terraces (2FM).
