Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambience for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some twin beds are available. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or sometimes portholes and offer a beautiful ocean view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some twin beds available). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and the spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialities from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro", the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola", and the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where selected dishes can be prepared yourself (partially for a fee and by reservation). The dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlours. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

The MyItalian indulgence package can be booked in addition to full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialities from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is supplemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialities. The drinks package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underlines the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness centre with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports field and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous possibilities for movement and sporting balance in the open air. This way, activity, relaxation, and holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness centre (for a fee). Thus, your personal fitness programme can be flexibly designed even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure programme in the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini-Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi-Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity programme.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting places. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool and an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which provides extra leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) covers around 6,000 m² over four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium, and several whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by varied wellness, beauty, and massage treatments that invite you to relaxing time-outs and pure regeneration in a stylish ambience.

Entertainment

For varied entertainment, there are spectacular shows in the theatre, live music, a piano bar, a discotheque, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse on-board programme offers numerous possibilities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, there are four pools available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 metres, which offers impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme evenings, interactive events, and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Note

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected, and the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This can include, among other things, cabins with twin beds, connecting doors, limited views, or accessible cabins. The dining time in the main restaurants is also set by Costa.
