Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambience for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) as well as Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some have separate beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or sometimes portholes and offer a beautiful ocean view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins can accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and the spacious feel make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the "Tutti a Tavola" family restaurant as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where selected dishes can be prepared by guests (partly for a fee and with reservation). Table times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied culinary moments for every taste.

In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian enjoyment package can be booked. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for every time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, spirits and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drinks package ensures varied culinary moments and emphasizes the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent ocean view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength equipment allow for sports activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court as well as a jogging track are available and offer numerous possibilities for exercise and sporting balance under the open sky. Thus, activity, relaxation and the holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various classes such as Yoga, Pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). Thus, your personal fitness program can also be flexibly designed during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) has a diverse entertainment and activity program ready.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. This way, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over around 6,000 m² across four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium as well as several whirlpools.
The feel-good offer is rounded off by diverse wellness, beauty and massage treatments that invite you to relaxing breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambience.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub as well as a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse onboard program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area as well as a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.
