Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambience for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some have separate beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or some have portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins can accommodate 2 to 4 people (some have separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and the spacious feel make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and accommodate 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants ensure culinary variety with specialities from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the "Tutti a Tavola" family restaurant, as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where selected dishes can be prepared by oneself (partly for a fee and by reservation). The dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlours. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

All inclusive

In addition to full board, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialities from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is supplemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialities. The drinks package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underlines the Italian zest for life on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness centre with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength equipment allow for sports activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous possibilities for exercise and sporting balance in the open air. This allows activity, relaxation, and holiday experience to be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness centre (for a fee). This allows personal fitness programmes to be designed flexibly even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure programme in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) has a diverse entertainment and activity programme in store.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. This provides young guests with the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool and an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which provides additional leisure fun on board.

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) covers around 6,000 m² over four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium, and several whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by varied wellness, beauty, and massage treatments that invite you to enjoy relaxing breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambience.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theatre, live music, a piano bar, a discotheque, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse on-board programme offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
Four pools are available for relaxation and bathing fun, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 metres, which offers impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme evenings, interactive events, and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is chosen, and the assignment of cabin number and deck is made by Costa. This may include cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, restricted views, or accessible cabins. The dining time in the main restaurants is also determined by Costa.

Location

The hotel is located directly on the San Agustin beach in the south of the island of Gran Canaria and has direct access to the beach.
Approx. 10 minutes' walk to the shopping centre with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops.
The lively Playa del Ingles beach is approx. 3 km from the hotel, which you can reach along the beach promenade.
The airport is approx. 26 km away.
