Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambiance for restful days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hair dryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on cabin location and category, separate beds may be available. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda feature a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (partly with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The thoughtful design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include, among others, a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by oneself (partly for a fee and reservation required). The dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers diverse culinary moments for every taste.

The MyItalian gourmet package can be booked in addition to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include, among others, cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. The offer is complemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drinks package ensures varied culinary moments and emphasizes the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength machines allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court as well as a jogging track are available, offering numerous possibilities for exercise and sporting balance in the fresh air. This way, activity, relaxation and the holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). Thus, your personal fitness program can also be flexibly arranged during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam with games and creative activities in the Mini Club (3–6 years), the Maxi Club (7–11 years) has a diverse entertainment and activity program ready.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) as well as the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which provides additional leisure fun on board.

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over about 6,000 m² across four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium as well as several whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by diverse wellness, beauty and massage treatments that invite you to enjoy restful breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a disco as well as a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse onboard program offers numerous possibilities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area as well as a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.

Lucky cabin: When booking a Lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside or balcony cabin) is selected; the assignment of cabin number and deck is made by Costa. The Kumara Serenoa by Lopesan Hotels is located in the Campo Internacional holiday area in Maspalomas, in the south of Gran Canaria.
The exclusive tourist area of Meloneras, with shopping facilities as well as bars and restaurants and a beautiful promenade, is approx. 3.5 km away.
The sandy beach of Maspalomas is approx. 3.5 km away and the center of Playa del Inglés is approx. 4 km away.
