Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functional inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
Measuring approx. 13 m², the inside cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some cabins feature twin beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or occasionally portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. Measuring approx. 20 m², these sea-view cabins can accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds). Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and accommodate 2 to 4 people. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from around the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the “Pummid’Oro” pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant “Tutti a Tavola,” as well as the “Laboratorio del Gusto,” where guests can prepare selected dishes themselves (some for a fee and by reservation). Dining times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers diverse culinary moments for every taste.

In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of day. These include, among others, cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, spirits, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. For additional sporting activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional guidance can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness program to remain flexible even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can play and enjoy creative activities in the Mini-Club (3–6 years), the Maxi-Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activities program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. This allows young guests the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) spans approximately 6,000 m² over four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium, and multiple whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by diverse wellness, beauty, and massage treatments that invite guests to enjoy relaxing breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse onboard program offers numerous opportunities for enjoyable hours at sea, both during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including an indoor pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with multiple water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which allows for impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric themed evenings, interactive events, and other onboard events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky cabin: When booking a “lucky cabin,” the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is chosen, and the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This may include, among others, cabins with twin beds, connecting doors, restricted views, or accessible cabins. Dining times in the main restaurants are also set by Costa.
