Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some beds are separate. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and a high level of living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful ocean view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some beds are separate). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and the spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro", the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where selected dishes can be prepared by oneself (partly for a fee and with reservation). Meal times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

The MyItalian enjoyment package can be added to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of the day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drinks package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underlines the Italian attitude to life on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength equipment allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous opportunities for movement and sporting balance under the open sky. This allows activity, relaxation and the holiday experience on the Costa Smeralda to be optimally combined.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (for a fee). In addition, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness program to be designed flexibly even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam with games and creative activities in the Mini Club (3–6 years), the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. This gives young guests the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool and an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over around 6,000 m² on four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium and several whirlpools.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a disco and a casino for guests aged 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
Four pools are available for relaxation and swimming fun, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme evenings, interactive events and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky Cabin: When booking a Lucky Cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside or balcony cabin) is chosen; the allocation of cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This can include cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, restricted views or accessible cabins. Meal times in the main restaurants are also determined by Costa.

Location

It is approx. 900 m to the kilometer-long sandy beach of Playa del Inglés.
The airport is approx. 30 km away.

Facilities

The adults-only hotel (16+) with 166 rooms on 5 floors features a spacious lobby with reception and seating areas, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, elevator, fully equipped co-working business room, games and reading room, lobby bar and a buffet restaurant.
In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable in winter) with a sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols as well as a pool/snack bar with a beautiful terrace.
