Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambiance for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, separate beds are sometimes available. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda feature a large window or sometimes portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the sea-view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some have separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro", the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola", and the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where selected dishes can be prepared yourself (partially for a fee and reservation required). The dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers diverse moments of enjoyment for every taste.

The MyItalian gourmet package can be added to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is supplemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The beverage package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for athletic activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports field and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous possibilities for exercise and athletic balance under the open sky. Thus, activity, relaxation, and a holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). Thus, the personal fitness program can also be flexibly designed during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) has a diverse entertainment and activity program ready.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. This way, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holidays.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which provides additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over approx. 6,000 m² on four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium, and several whirlpools.

Entertainment

For varied entertainment, spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a disco, and a casino are available for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse onboard program offers numerous possibilities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events, and other onboard events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Note

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is chosen, and the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This can include, among other things, cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, restricted views, or accessible cabins. The dining time in the main restaurants is also set by Costa.

The hotel complex is located in the immediate vicinity of the magnificent dune landscape. To the beach of Playa del Inglés approx. 1 km (daily free shuttle bus, at specific times/subject to availability).

The airport is approx. 34 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, mainly visited by families and an international public, has 410 rooms on 5 floors, reception hall with reception, lobby bar with terrace, elevators, Wi-Fi throughout the hotel included, conference room (for a fee, subject to availability and reservation), buffet restaurant with terrace and "Food Corner" with an outdoor terrace.
