Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on cabin location and category, some cabins have separate beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or sometimes portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people (sometimes separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The thoughtful design and spacious feel make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from around the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro," the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared yourself (partly for a fee and by reservation). Table times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers diverse moments of enjoyment for every taste.

The MyItalian gourmet package can be added to the full board services. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of the day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok kids club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including an indoor pool area and a separate swimming deck. Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected, but the assignment of cabin number and deck is made by Costa. Lopesan Baobab Resort

Location

The hotel impresses with its spectacular architecture, which reflects the culture of the African continent with numerous dark and noble wood elements. It is centrally located in Meloneras.
This spectacular 5-star resort covers approx. 72,000 m² and is approx. 600 m from the dunes and the sandy beach.
Shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as a casino, are in the immediate vicinity.
The airport is approx. 35 km away.

Facilities

The African-themed hotel with a total of 677 rooms takes you into an experiential world where everything revolves around the African continent.
Upon your arrival, the incredible architecture will captivate you.
A wooden bridge leads you from the entrance area over an imposing water landscape directly to the reception with seating areas, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and lifts.
From there, it continues into the subtropical garden with several pools such as a children's pool, "slow river" pool, waterfalls, and pools with sandy beaches, as well as sun terraces, sun loungers, umbrellas, and a pool/snack bar.
