Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some have separate beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and accommodate 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants ensure culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by oneself (partly for a fee and with reservation). Mealtimes in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of indulgence for every taste.

In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. This includes cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is complemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drinks package ensures varied moments of indulgence and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports field and a jogging track are also available and offer numerous opportunities for movement and sporting balance in the open air. Thus, activity, relaxation, and holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various classes such as Yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). Thus, your personal fitness program can also be flexibly designed during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini-Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi-Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions for making new friends and spending varied holiday days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which provides extra leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over around 6,000 m² across four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium, and several whirlpools.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse onboard program offers numerous possibilities during the day and in the evening for entertaining hours at sea.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which allows for impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events, and other onboard activities, which provide for social hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Notes

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected, while the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This may include cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, restricted views, or barrier-free cabins, among others. The dining time in the main restaurants is also determined by Costa.

Centrally located in Playa del Inglés, it is approx. 900 m to the long sandy beach (free shuttle bus to the beach, subject to availability).

The hotel, with 724 rooms and an international clientele, features a reception area, mini-market, hairdresser, buffet restaurant with a small terrace, and a lobby bar. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
